Overload output brought hyperdeformities of peartree and cement metal mesh bondage of pome, which led to high mortality, externally injured, and misshapen,Then the qualified are divided.Just like human, cull and re-cull, therefore, no comment. But discarded makes me feel the way of being abandoned. Therefore, this is Sacrificial rites for the eliminated.

The real and glass pears in the video were all picked up from the Kureha pear fields. When I first arrived in Toyama, Two things struck me as very different from Tokyo. The first was the uncountable number of pear trees. Someday I was  cycling through pear fields, I saw countless immature small pears on the ground. Another was a huge rubbish bin. Furniture, steel, wood, especially the bins around the glass school, there have piles of discarded glass. The immature pears that have fallen in the fields, and the material is glass that I picked up from the trash. Both of them are in a sense rejected rubbish, thrown away. From there, I felt regret and despondency, and various associations came up. It is only when we can see ourselves that we can empathise with things.

Human being was originally part of nature and coexisted with all things in balance, with the adjustment of rules that have not been fully recognised or known until now. For a thousand years, human being has been trying to find and explain the true source. Philosophy, religion, science. With the development of human,  there has been an imbalance. Human society has gradually split from nature, conquering and dominating it, transforming the world according to our own needs. Human has drawn a line of reference around the world for our own interests. And neither being chosen nor not being chosen can be good for things.

The pear tree as a crop, grown in large quantities for the sale of fruit, has been deformed far beyond what the tree itself can withstand, to the extent that it will always break if not supported by concrete posts or metal mesh. As a result, far more pears were wasted than were packaged and sent to markets. Small pears that fall in order to concentrate nutrients during the growth period, pears damaged by external forces such as weather, insects and crows, pears with a less than perfect shape, pears with an uneven colour ...... can still be classified as excellent, blue or average.

It is exactly the same as human society.

Competitions begins before we become  oosperm and does not end even death. Some people are more beautiful, some people are more talented, some people are more accomplished than others. ...... With a world population of over 7.6 billion people, the world needs more labor and financial resources to encourage growth; to sacrifice some people for the sake of others; to fight against nature. Individual competition, nationalism, ...... conflict will never end. But it is also impossible to guarantee all groups benefits. As a human being, I cannot foresee what will happen if the world is ruled by another species. As a human being, I am in no position to judge, and I do not intend to criticise. However, as I walked through the endless fields of pears, I was struck by the sight of countless fallen pears, and the smell of sweet rottenness washed over my nose. So, I held a ritual for the unchosen pears or the neglected life.
